Our Journey

Like many, my travel experience is a love story. In 2018 on a trip to the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, I fell head-over-heels for the rich culture: the history,  architecture and art, food and wine—and of course the people and how they express themselves through long-held traditions and craftsmanship. Watching the perfection of a master chocolatier; walking with a winemaker through his fields as he passionately scoops handfuls of earth to his nose; tasting the sun and salt air in flights of olive oils. Like all good slow travel, no matter where or how far, it was transformative. I wanted more, and I wanted to share these discoveries with others. In 2019, I took my first small group with Chef Julie Francis back to southern France, and have continued each year since to widen my horizons. I invite you to share in the magic and wander with us.
